Tyrro is a small municipality located in the eastern coast region of the country. It falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the County of Verdan and is part of the larger Verdan Province. The town lies approximately 12 kilometres southeast of the provincial capital, with a latitude of 34.245° N and longitude 11.857° E. Tyrro sits at an average elevation of 45 metres above sea level, within a temperate climate zone that supports mixed agriculture and forestry.

The population of Tyrro was recorded at 3,127 residents in the most recent national census of 2021. Residents predominantly speak the regional dialect of the Verdan language, though standard national language is also widely understood. According to the latest demographic data, the age distribution is fairly balanced, with a slight majority of the population falling between 20 and 49 years of age, reflecting the town’s moderate economic opportunities and educational facilities.

Historical records indicate that Tyrro was first settled in the late 14th century as a strategic fishing and trading post.
