Tuulivalleja is a fictional geographic term used in speculative geography and fantasy world-building to describe wind-sculpted valleys formed by aeolian processes. The name has a Finnish-inspired etymology, combining tuuli, meaning wind, with valleja, a stylized form of valleys, chosen for its sonic and spatial fit in many narrative contexts.

In the imagined landscapes where tuulivalleja occur, persistent winds transport and abrade loose surface material on arid plateaus or desert steps. Through deflation and abrasion, preexisting fractures are widened into elongated depressions. The landforms typically feature sharp ridges along their sides, yardang-like facets on exposed rock, and polished, striated surfaces that reveal past wind directions. Vegetation is sparse, and soils are dusty, often with dunes forming at the valley mouths.
