Tutkissa

Tutkissa is not a standard Finnish headword. In contemporary Finnish, it is most often not used as a standalone noun but appears as a grammatical form or, in many cases, as a misspelling or nonstandard variant. The closest established bases are the noun tutkinta, meaning investigation, and the noun tutkija, meaning investigator. The inessive form of tutkinta is tutkinnassa, meaning “in the investigation.”

From a linguistic perspective, tutkissa would only be analyzed as an inessive-style form if it arose from a noun such as tutkisa that does not exist as a common dictionary entry. Because this base is not part of standard Finnish, tutkissa is generally regarded as an error, a dialectal oddity, or a creative but nonstandard usage rather than a recognized lexical item.

As a result, there are no widely recognized definitions, histories, or notable uses of tutkissa as a distinct concept. If encountered in text, it is more likely to be a typographical mistake or an instance of nonstandard spelling.
