Turkishborn
Turkishborn is a demographic designation used to describe individuals who were born in the Republic of Turkey and who later emigrate or reside abroad. The term appears in migration studies, census reports, and legal documents that distinguish native-born Turkish citizens from naturalized residents and descendants of earlier emigrants. Turkishborn populations can be found in European countries such as Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and in North America, particularly the United States, Canada, and Australia. Data from the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Eurostat database indicate that, as of 2023, approximately 500,000 Turkish-born people live in Germany, with similar numbers in France and the United Kingdom.
