Tuotantosektori, commonly translated as the production or manufacturing sector, encompasses all activities related to the transformation of raw materials and intermediate goods into finished products suitable for consumption or further production. In Finland, the sector includes sub‑categories such as manufacturing of machinery, electrical equipment, chemicals, food and beverages, as well as the processing of metals, paper, and renewable resources.
