Trägerebene

Trägerebene is a term used in German technical literature to denote a plane that serves as a carrier or reference for describing physical quantities distributed in space. The exact meaning depends on the discipline, but the common idea is that the plane provides a convenient basis for projection, analysis and representation of three‑dimensional objects.
