Tromboneja is a lesser-known musical instrument that combines elements of the trombone and the didgeridoo, creating a unique hybrid sound. Originating from experimental music circles in the late 20th century, it was developed as an unconventional approach to blending brass and wind instrument techniques. The name "tromboneja" is a portmanteau derived from "trombone" and "didgeridoo," reflecting its dual heritage.

The instrument typically features a long, flexible tube, often made of wood or synthetic materials, similar to a didgeridoo, with a mouthpiece resembling that of a trombone.
