Trinitrons
The Trinitron is a proprietary CRT display technology developed and manufactured by Sony. Introduced in 1968, it was a significant advancement over traditional shadow mask CRTs. The key innovation of the Trinitron was its use of a single, large electron gun that fired three electron beams. This aperture grille allowed for greater precision in directing the electron beams to the correct phosphor
