Trekpleister

Trekpleister is a Dutch term that translates roughly as "attention-getter" or "draw." In everyday usage it refers to something that attracts people, such as a sale, a promotional event, a striking shop display, or a feature that makes a product or store more appealing. In marketing and retail discourse, a trekpleister is an attraction designed to pull customers through the door or to highlight a particular offer or product.

Trekpleister is also the name of a Dutch chain of discount drugstores that operated in the Netherlands
