The core members were Renato Aragão, Dedé Santana, Mussum, and Zacarias. The group's origins trace back to television programs like "A Praça da Alegria" and "Os Adoráveis Trapalhões." However, it was with the creation of "Os Trapalhões" on Rede Tupi in the early 1970s that they truly found their stride and cemented their iconic status. Their television shows were known for their improvisational style and the distinct personalities of each member: Renato Aragão as the leader figure, Dedé Santana as the more laid-back one, Mussum as the intellectual drunkard, and Zacarias as the naive and clumsy character.
