Transzisztorai

Transzisztorai is a Hungarian term that translates to "transistors" in English. It refers to semiconductor devices that are used to amplify or switch electronic signals and electrical power. Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronic devices and are found in virtually every piece of electronic equipment, from simple radios to complex computers and smartphones.

The invention of the transistor in 1947 at Bell Laboratories by John Bardeen, Walter Brattain, and William Shockley revolutionized electronics. Prior to transistors, vacuum tubes were used for similar functions, but they were bulky, fragile, and consumed a lot of power. Transistors offered a smaller, more durable, and more energy-efficient alternative, paving the way for miniaturization and the development of integrated circuits.

There are several types of transistors, with the most common being bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) and field-effect transistors (FETs).
