Torktumlning

Torktumlning, often referred to as tumble drying, is a common household appliance used to dry clothes after they have been washed. It works by tumbling wet garments in a rotating drum heated by either electricity or gas. This process circulates warm air through the fabrics, evaporating the moisture and leaving the clothes dry.

The appliance typically features a large drum where clothes are placed. As the drum rotates, it lifts the clothes and allows them to fall, ensuring even exposure to the heated air. Heat pump torktumlare are a more energy-efficient option that recycles heat. Regular cleaning of lint filters is essential for the efficient and safe operation of any torktumlare.
