Tireas
Tireas, also known as Tiresias, was a blind prophet in Greek mythology, renowned for his wisdom and foresight. He was the son of the nymph Chariclo and the god of the sun, Helios. Tireas was born blind, but his mother, Chariclo, sought the help of the god Apollo to cure him. Apollo agreed, but on the condition that Tireas would never reveal his true identity or the source of his knowledge. Tireas agreed, and Apollo granted him his sight in exchange for his secrecy.
