Tilausdata

Tilausddata is a term used in Finnish business contexts to denote data associated with customer orders. In a broad sense it encompasses the records generated by order capture, processing, and fulfillment across commerce, manufacturing, and logistics systems. The term is used for both operational and analytical purposes, often within enterprise data architectures that integrate sales, inventory and fulfillment processes.

Common elements of tilausdata include: order_id, customer_id, order_date, status, items (product_id, quantity, unit_price), line_total, order_total, currency, billing_address, shipping_address, shipping_method, payment_method, payment_status, carrier, tracking_number, shipment_date, delivery_date, warehouse or fulfillment_center, and discount or tax information.

Data originates from e-commerce platforms, order management systems, ERP and WMS, and external marketplaces. It is stored in relational databases, data warehouses, or data lakes and may be exchanged in formats such as JSON, XML, or CSV, typically via APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, or EDI.

Uses include order processing, invoicing, inventory control, logistics planning, customer service, and business analytics such as demand forecasting and revenue reporting.

Privacy and governance concerns include protection of personally identifiable information, data retention policies, access controls, anonymization for analytics, and compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR.
