Thrombate

Thrombate is a medication used to treat and prevent blood clots, particularly in conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). It belongs to the class of drugs known as direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) and works by inhibiting the action of thrombin, an enzyme crucial for blood clotting. Unlike traditional anticoagulants like warfarin, thrombate does not require regular blood monitoring and has a more predictable dosing regimen.
