ThaiChinese refers to people of Chinese descent who live in or have originated from Thailand. This demographic group is a significant and influential minority within Thailand. The term can also encompass individuals of Thai and Chinese mixed heritage.

The presence of Chinese communities in Thailand dates back centuries, with substantial migration occurring during periods of economic opportunity and political upheaval in China. These immigrants, primarily from southern China such as Hainan, Teochew, and Hokkien regions, brought their distinct dialects, customs, and entrepreneurial skills.
