Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., commonly known as Teva, is an Israeli multinational pharmaceutical company headquartered in Petah Tikva. It is one of the world's largest producers of generic medicines and a major supplier of branded specialty products.

Teva's product portfolio includes a wide range of generic prescription medicines, over-the-counter products, and active pharmaceutical ingredients. The company also develops and markets branded specialty medicines in certain therapeutic areas. One of its best-known products is Copaxone (glatiramer acetate), a treatment for multiple sclerosis.

The company traces its origins to the early 20th century in Jerusalem and grew from a local drug business into a global pharmaceutical group through growth and acquisitions. A notable milestone occurred in 2016, when Teva completed the acquisition of Actavis plc’s generic and branded business, creating one of the largest generic-drug manufacturers in the world and expanding its global footprint.
