Termografieä

Termografieä is a Swedish term referring to thermography, a non-contact method of detecting infrared radiation emitted by an object and converting it into a visible image. This image, called a thermogram, displays temperature variations across the surface of the object. Different colors or shades of gray in the thermogram represent different temperatures, allowing for the visualization of heat patterns.

The principle behind thermography is that all objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit infrared radiation. The intensity of this radiation is directly related to the object's temperature. Thermographic cameras are equipped with specialized sensors that capture this infrared energy. Specialized software then processes this data to create the thermogram.
