Terahertzeihin

Terahertzeihin is a Finnish term referring to terahertz radiation. Terahertz radiation, often abbreviated as THz, is a region of the electromagnetic spectrum located between microwaves and infrared light. It occupies the frequency range from 0.1 to 10 THz, corresponding to wavelengths from 3 millimeters to 30 micrometers. This part of the spectrum has historically been difficult to generate and detect, leading to it being called the "terahertz gap."

The unique properties of terahertz radiation make it useful for various applications. It can penetrate many non-conductive materials, such as plastics, ceramics, and clothing, making it suitable for security screening and non-destructive testing.
