Teorioids

Teorioids are a hypothetical class of astronomical objects that are theorized to exist but have not yet been directly observed. The term is often used to encompass a variety of speculative celestial bodies that fall outside the standard classifications of planets, stars, or moons, but which could still form under natural astrophysical processes.

One category of teorioids includes rogue planets, which are celestial bodies massive enough to be planets but are not gravitationally bound to any star. These objects may have been ejected from their original solar systems or formed in isolation. Another concept is the "brown dwarf desert," a gap in the observed distribution of brown dwarfs, which suggests that smaller brown dwarfs might be more numerous than currently detected, effectively acting as teorioids.

The study of teorioids is largely theoretical, relying on simulations and models of star and planet formation. Detecting such objects presents significant challenges due to their potential faintness and lack of a host star for easy identification. However, ongoing advancements in telescope technology and observational techniques may eventually lead to their discovery, refining our understanding of celestial object formation and evolution in the universe. The existence of teorioids could have implications for theories of planet formation, galactic dynamics, and the overall census of matter in the cosmos.
