Televa

Televa refers to a Finnish telecommunications company that was formed in 2003. It was a result of the merger between two regional telecommunications operators, PPO Telecom and KPN Vast. The company provided a range of services including mobile, broadband internet, and fixed-line telephony to residential and business customers across Finland. Televa aimed to offer competitive services and was known for its focus on customer service within its operational areas.

In 2006, Televa was acquired by TeliaSonera, a major Nordic telecommunications operator. This acquisition integrated Televa's operations and customer base into TeliaSonera's broader Finnish network and service offerings. The Televa brand was subsequently phased out as its services were consolidated under the Telia brand. The integration aimed to create a stronger, more unified telecommunications presence in the Finnish market, leveraging the combined infrastructure and expertise of both companies. The legacy of Televa can be seen in the continued development of telecommunications services in Finland under its successor.
