TeXworks

TeXworks is a free, open-source cross-platform editor and previewer for TeX and LaTeX documents. Designed to be simple and approachable, it provides a lightweight interface for editing TeX source and viewing the resulting PDF. TeXworks is inspired by TeXShop and aims to deliver a consistent experience on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

The project is community-maintained and released under the GNU General Public License. It is built on the Qt toolkit, which allows its user interface to resemble native applications across platforms.
