Tarkkuusaseet

Tarkkuusaseet, often translated as precision rifles or sniper rifles, are firearms designed for extreme accuracy at extended ranges. Unlike standard infantry rifles, which prioritize rapid fire and general utility, tarkkuusaseet are built with components and features that minimize any factors that could degrade bullet trajectory. This includes using high-quality barrels, often with specialized rifling and coatings, free-floating barrel systems to prevent external pressure from affecting the barrel's harmonics, and precisely machined actions.

The ammunition used in tarkkuusaseet is also critical. It is typically match-grade, meaning each round is manufactured to extremely tight tolerances in terms of weight, dimensions, and propellant charge, ensuring consistent performance. Furthermore, tarkkuusaseet often feature adjustable stocks and triggers to allow the shooter to fine-tune the rifle's fit and feel, and are almost always equipped with high-magnification optical sights (scopes) to facilitate accurate aiming at distant targets.
