Tanimbars
The Tanimbar Islands, also known as Kepulauan Tanimbar, are a group of about 65 islands in the Maluku province of Indonesia. They are located in the southeastern part of the Indonesian archipelago, to the north of Australia. The largest island is Yamdena. The total land area of the Tanimbar Islands is approximately 12,000 square kilometers.
The archipelago lies between the Banda Sea to the north and the Arafura Sea to the south.
