Talajpartokat

Talajpartokat is a term that refers to the different layers or horizons that make up a soil profile. When you dig a hole in the ground, you will notice that the soil is not uniform. Instead, it is divided into distinct horizontal zones, each with its own characteristics. These zones are called soil horizons, and collectively they form the soil profile.

The uppermost layer is typically the organic layer, or O horizon, which consists of decaying plant and animal matter. Below this is the topsoil, or A horizon, which is rich in organic material and minerals, making it the most fertile layer for plant growth. Finally, the R horizon is the bedrock, the solid rock layer that forms the base of the soil profile.
