Tagasisidevõrkudes, also known as feedback networks, are systems designed to use the output signal or a portion thereof to influence the input signal. This concept is fundamental in various fields, including electronics, control systems, and even biology. The primary purpose of a feedback network is to modify the behavior of a system, often to improve stability, accuracy, or performance.

There are two main types of feedback: positive feedback and negative feedback. Negative feedback occurs when the feedback signal is out of phase with the input signal, effectively opposing it. This type of feedback is crucial for stabilizing systems, reducing distortion, and controlling gain. For instance, in operational amplifiers, negative feedback is used to precisely set the amplifier's gain and linearity. In control systems, negative feedback helps maintain a desired output by continuously comparing it to the setpoint and adjusting the input accordingly.

Positive feedback, on the other hand, occurs when the feedback signal is in phase with the input signal, reinforcing it. While it can lead to instability and oscillations, positive feedback is intentionally used in oscillators to generate signals and in some biological systems for signal amplification. Understanding the nature and application of feedback networks is essential for designing and analyzing complex systems across numerous disciplines.
