TAMUTAUT
TAMUTAUT is a theoretical model for explaining and predicting user acceptance and use of information technology by integrating core concepts from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). It seeks to combine the parsimonious core of TAM—perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use—with the broader predictive factors of UTAUT, including performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions, as well as important moderators such as age, gender, experience, and voluntariness of use. The aim is to provide a unified framework that can be applied across a range of technologies and contexts, from enterprise systems to consumer devices.
In TAMUTAUT, performance expectancy and perceived usefulness are aligned as drivers of intention or use, with
Applications of TAMUTAUT appear in information systems research, e-services adoption, mobile and wearable technologies, and e-learning,
