Søgne

Søgne is a former municipality in Agder county, Norway. It was located on the southern coast of the country, in the traditional district of Sørlandet, just west of the city of Kristiansand. The municipality was established in 1838 under the formannskapsdistrikt law and remained independent until 1 January 2020, when it merged with Songdalen to form Kristiansand Municipality as part of a nationwide municipal reform. The administrative centre was the village of Tangvall; other settlements along the coast included Høllen and Lunde.
