Säätöperiaate

Säätöperiaate refers to the fundamental concept of control systems, a field that deals with influencing the behavior of dynamic systems. In essence, a säätöperiaate outlines how a system is designed to achieve a desired output or state by manipulating its inputs. This involves measuring the current state of the system, comparing it to the desired state, and then using the difference, or error, to adjust the input in a way that reduces the error.

There are several common säätöperiaatteet, each suited for different applications. Proportional control (P) adjusts the output in proportion to the current error. Integral control (I) considers the accumulated error over time, helping to eliminate steady-state errors. Derivative control (D) anticipates future errors by looking at the rate of change of the error.
