Säteileväroot is a type of flowering plant that belongs to the family Saxifragaceae. Native to Europe, it can be found in areas with moist soils and partial shade. The plant grows to a height of approximately 30-60 centimeters, with a distinct leaf arrangement and upright flower stalks.

The name Säteileväroot translates to "radiating root" in Finnish, which refers to the plant's unique root system.
