Szublicencelés

Szublicencelés is a Hungarian term that translates to "sub-licensing" or "sublicensing" in English. It refers to the practice where a licensee, who has been granted rights to use intellectual property (such as software, patents, or copyrighted material) by the original owner (the licensor), then grants a portion of those rights to a third party. This is distinct from a simple assignment, where the original licensee transfers all their rights to another party. In a sublicensing arrangement, the original licensee retains some rights while still being able to grant others.

The terms of a sublicensing agreement are typically governed by the original license agreement between the licensor and the initial licensee. The original license often specifies whether sublicensing is permitted and under what conditions.
