Szaporítósejtek

Szaporítósejtek, also known as gametes or germ cells, are specialized cells in sexually reproducing organisms that carry genetic information from one generation to the next. In animals, these include sperm cells in males and egg cells (ova) in females. In plants, they are represented by pollen and ovules.

The primary function of szaporítósejtek is to fuse during fertilization, combining the genetic material from two parents to create a new individual, the zygote.
