Syreförstärkning
Syreförstärkning, often translated as oxygen enrichment or oxygen boosting, is a process used to increase the concentration of oxygen in a gas stream. This can be achieved through various methods, with the most common being pressure swing adsorption (PSA) and membrane separation. In PSA systems, air is passed through beds of adsorbent material that selectively removes nitrogen and other impurities, leaving behind an oxygen-rich gas. Membrane separation utilizes semi-permeable membranes that allow oxygen to pass through more readily than nitrogen.
The primary application of syreförstärkning is in combustion processes. By increasing the oxygen content, combustion becomes
Beyond industrial combustion, syreförstärkning finds use in medical applications, where supplemental oxygen is administered to patients
