Sw853 is a Chinese main battle tank developed by Chinese defense manufacturer Norinco. The tank was first unveiled in 2011 as an upgraded version of the Type 96B. Sw853 features improved armor, a new fire control system, and enhanced mobility. The tank's fire control system is based on a computerized stabilized sighting and tracking system which allows for accurate and rapid targeting. The Sw853 is equipped with a 125mm smooth-bore gun capable of firing a variety of ammunition including high explosive, armor-piercing, and guided projectiles.
