Svetovid
Svetovid is a reconstructed deity of Slavic paganism, primarily associated with the Polabian Slavs. Evidence for Svetovid comes mainly from the 12th-century Chronicle of the Danes by Saxo Grammaticus, who describes a large temple dedicated to this god on the island of Rügen at the fortress of Arkona. According to Saxo, the temple housed a colossal idol with four heads, each looking in a different direction, symbolizing his dominion over all lands. The idol was depicted with a sword and a horn.
