Supertram

Supertram is the brand name of Sheffield's urban light rail tram system in South Yorkshire, England. It is operated by Stagecoach Supertram, a subsidiary of the Stagecoach Group, and has been part of the region's public transport network since the mid-1990s.

Construction of the system began in the late 1980s as part of a wider effort to renew Sheffield's public transport, and the first phase opened in 1994. The network comprises multiple lines that run through the city centre and into surrounding districts, using a mix of on-street running and dedicated track.
