Supernovajäänteiksi
Supernovajäänteiksi, often translated as supernova remnants, are the structures resulting from the explosion of a star in a supernova. When a massive star exhausts its nuclear fuel, it can no longer support itself against its own gravity and collapses. This collapse triggers a massive explosion, expelling the star's outer layers into space at high velocities. These expanding shells of gas and dust, illuminated by the energy from the supernova, are what we observe as supernova remnants.
These remnants are dynamic and evolve over time. Initially, they are very hot and emit strongly in
Studying supernova remnants provides valuable insights into stellar evolution, the physics of supernovae, and the composition
