Supermicrosurgery

Supermicrosurgery is an advanced surgical technique that utilizes specialized instruments and high-powered microscopes to operate on structures as small as 0.3 to 0.5 millimeters in diameter. This level of precision allows surgeons to work with very fine blood vessels, nerves, and lymphatic channels, which are often too small to be manipulated with conventional microsurgical tools. Key to supermicrosurgery is the use of specialized micro-instruments, such as finer forceps, needle holders, and scissors, designed for delicate tissue handling.
