Superkylmät

Superkylmät is a Finnish term used to describe systems and materials at extremely low temperatures where quantum phenomena become observable on macroscopic scales. While not a formal scientific category, the expression appears in Finnish science writing and education to refer to cryogenic regimes—from fractions of a kelvin to a few kelvin and, in ultracold experiments, into the nanokelvin range—where collective quantum effects dominate the behavior of matter.
