Suguchromosoomide
Suguchromosoomide are the pair of chromosomes that determine an organism's sex in many species. In humans and most mammals, the system centers on two chromosomes, X and Y. Typically, individuals with two X chromosomes are female, while individuals with one X and one Y are male. Not all species use the same system, however: some reptiles, fish, and insects rely on different determinants, and others use environmental cues to set sex.
In humans, the X chromosome is sizable and carries hundreds of genes; the Y chromosome is smaller
Sex chromosomes are inherited in patterns that affect recombination and inheritance: mothers pass X to both
Abnormalities of sex chromosomes are common genetic conditions: Turner syndrome (monosomy X, 45,X), Klinefelter syndrome (XXY),
Evolutionarily, the Y chromosome has shed many genes over time in some lineages, while the X chromosome
