Strengene

Strengene is a small town and municipality in the river valley of Northmere, Eldoria. It serves as the administrative center of the Strengene Municipality and has a population of roughly 8,500 residents. The town lies along the Streng River and is bordered by rolling farmland and woodlands.

Strengene sits at the edge of the Northmere hills, with a temperate maritime climate. The surrounding landscape features mixed farmland, deciduous forests, and a seasonal floodplain along the river. The historic core is located near the riverbank, with newer neighborhoods on higher ground.

Strengene began as a medieval market settlement near a river crossing and grew around a manor house. It received town rights in the 14th century and developed steadily through the early modern era. The late 19th century brought railway access and light industry, shaping its growth in the industrial age.

The local economy centers on agriculture, primarily dairy and cereals, alongside small-scale manufacturing and services. Strengene is connected by regional roads and a short railway branch to a larger city, with a local bus network ensuring urban and rural links.
