Strahlungsleistungen refers to the power radiated by a source. It is a measure of the energy emitted per unit of time in the form of electromagnetic radiation. This concept is fundamental in various fields, including physics, engineering, and astronomy.

In electromagnetism, the total power radiated by an antenna is a key parameter, often denoted by P_rad. This radiated power is a portion of the input power delivered to the antenna, with the remainder being lost as heat due to resistance or reflected back. For incandescent light bulbs, the radiant power is the energy emitted as light and heat.
