Stereoäänikenttien, often translated as stereo sound fields or stereo soundstages, refers to the perceived spatial representation of sound within a stereo audio recording. It encompasses the width, depth, and height of the sound image created by the playback of two separate audio channels, typically left and right. A well-reproduced stereo sound field aims to create a sense of realism, allowing the listener to distinguish the positions of various instruments, vocals, and other sonic elements as if they were in a physical space.
