Steinhof
Steinhof is a district within the 11th Viennese municipality of Simmering. Historically, the name Steinhof referred to the area surrounding a large estate, which later became the site of significant public institutions. The most prominent of these is the Psychiatric Hospital of Vienna, officially known as the Otto Wagner Hospital, a landmark architectural complex designed by Otto Wagner. This hospital was established in the early 20th century and was a pioneering example of its kind.
