Stanly
Stanly County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is named for John Stanly, an early North Carolina politician who served in the United States Congress. The county seat is Albemarle. Stanly County lies in the central part of the state within the Piedmont region and is part of the Charlotte metropolitan area.
