Spraybetoni

Spraybetoni, also known as shotcrete or sprayed concrete, is a method of applying concrete or mortar to a surface at high velocity. The material is propelled through a hose by compressed air and strikes the substrate, compacting and bonding to it. This process allows for the application of concrete onto complex or uneven surfaces, including vertical and overhead applications.

There are two main methods of applying spraybetoni: dry-mix and wet-mix. In the dry-mix process, cement and aggregates are mixed and conveyed to the nozzle by air pressure. Water is added at the nozzle, and the mixture is then sprayed onto the surface. In the wet-mix process, all ingredients are mixed and conveyed to the nozzle as a wet mixture, with the spraying controlled by a valve at the nozzle.

Spraybetoni is widely used in various construction applications. Its ability to form a dense, impermeable layer makes it ideal for tunneling, mining, and slope stabilization, where it provides structural support and erosion control. It is also utilized in swimming pool construction, architectural features, and the repair and strengthening of existing concrete structures. The high velocity application results in a well-compacted material with excellent durability and reduced rebound compared to conventional methods.
