Sporangiosporoita is a term that has appeared in some historical or speculative discussions as a proposed grouping of organisms that form sporangia containing sporangiospores in their life cycles. In contemporary biology, the term is not widely adopted as a formal taxon, and there is no consensus on which lineages, if any, belong to it.

The concept has typically been framed around reproductive morphology, with sporangia serving as the structures that enclose sporangiospores, which are released as part of an asexual propagule stage. However, modern taxonomic practice relies heavily on molecular phylogenetics, and sporangial or sporangiospore production alone has proven insufficient to define a robust, monophyletic group. As a result, sporangiosporoita has not achieved stable recognition in major taxonomic references.

Morphology and diagnosis for sporangiosporoita, when invoked, hinge on the presence of sporangia and sporangiospores rather than a single, universal set of characters.
