Sotob
Sotob is a small village located in the northern part of the province of Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. The village is situated in the Sierra de Gádor mountain range, at an elevation of approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. Sotob is known for its traditional Andalusian architecture, with narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses. The village is also home to a number of traditional crafts, including pottery and weaving. The local economy is largely based on agriculture, with olives, almonds, and grapes being the main crops. The village is also a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers, with a number of marked trails leading through the surrounding mountains. Sotob is also home to a number of traditional festivals, including the Festival of the Virgin of the Assumption, which takes place in August. The village has a population of around 200 people, and is served by a small airport, which offers flights to nearby cities.
