Sondrio
Sondrio is a town and comune in Lombardy, northern Italy. It is the capital of the province of Sondrio and serves as the administrative and economic center of the Valtellina valley. Located in the Adda river basin at the foot of the Alps, the town sits at an altitude of a few hundred meters and has a population of approximately 21,000 residents.
