Sonderborg
Sonderborg is a municipality located in the Region of Southern Denmark on the island of Als in southern Denmark. The town of Sonderborg is the administrative center of the municipality. Historically, the area has been strategically important, most notably for the Battle of Sonderborg during the Second Schleswig War in 1864.
